LEADERSHIP TRAINING AT IT’S BEST!
In today’s world, leadership skills are crucial tools for success at home, in the community, at school, and in the workplace. Our Leadership Program helps to develop leadership skills, gives students the opportunity to take on leadership roles in class, and builds self-confidence among children and adults.
Students in the Leadership Program focus extensively on Life Skills such as knowledge, humility, vision, discipline, passion, and empathy. Class discussions help students to understand the meaning of these life skills and how they apply at home, at school, and in their communities.
The Leadership Program also offers students advanced training in weapons along with their self-defense.
Navigator Leadership Program (ages 4.5-6)
Our Navigator Leadership Program gives students enhanced responsibility in class and teaches them to be positive role models both at the studio and at school. Students explore the behaviors that exemplify good leadership and develop confidence and public speaking skills by giving oral reports on life skills related to leadership. They learn to set an example for other children. Additionally, they work with weapons such as bo staff, nunchaku, escrima sticks in the special Leadership classes.
Voyager Leadership Program (ages 7-9)
Our Voyager Leadership Program gives students enhanced responsibility in class and teaches them to be positive role models both at the studio and at school. Students explore the behaviors that exemplify good leadership and develop confidence and public speaking skills by giving oral reports on life skills related to leadership. They learn to set an example for others in the class, to help mentor junior-ranked students, and to take on a variety of leadership roles at the studio. Additionally, they work with weapons such as the bo staff, nunchaku, and escrima sticks.
Adventurer Leadership Program (ages 10-14)
Our Leadership Program for Tweens and Teens emphasizes advanced self-defense and weapons skills. We supplement traditional training with instruction in ground fighting, boxing, kickboxing, joint manipulation, and other practical self-defense approaches. We also train with weapons like the Bo Staff, Nunchaku, and Escrima Sticks. Additionally, students in the Voyager Leadership Program develop leadership skills that are useful in school and in the workplace.
Leadership Program membership includes the following:
- The Krav Zi’ar (Kids’ version of Krav Maga) curriculum covered in the Basic classes.
- Leadership Team only events.
- Weapons training (Bo Staff, Nunchaku, Escrima Sticks, Kali).
- Leadership Team uniform.
Now I know this sounds fantastic, but understand that there is a significant commitment level involved in our training requiring regular class attendance, homework assignments, reading assignments and home practice. This is why we do the trial membership before deciding whether or not a student is a good fit for the Leadership Team. These things, along with Top-Level coaching, are what separates our studio from the plethora of martial arts studios in the area. We know you will LOVE the training your child receives from us and we thank you for the opportunity to assist in their growth and development.
